How can I get my hair to lay flat at the ends?
I have long hair, about a foot in a half to two feet, its mid-back length on me. It is cut in a round shape at the ends and in a mirror it usually looks good if seen straight on from the back. but if I turn and look in the mirror at a side profile of my self I can see that the hair is not really laying flat. its kinda hard to explain. its not curling up but rather it seems my ends, although much thinner than the hair at my crown, is actually thicker because it isn't laying flat. I don't know, does anyone get what I'm talking about, how can I fix it?
Also, whatever is causing it it also effects my hair when in a ponytail too. instead of the tip of my ponytail coming to a nice point its like blunt and puffy. Sort of like a big flat square makeup brush.
You can try using a flattening iron. but this depends on your hair type and how your hair normally responds. your hair will always try to be disobedient.
i think you should use a round brush and when your hair is damp run the brush through turning the hair in. so it flicks in towards you not out. let it dry naturally and it should look right. another is to use a hair iron, and with the same method as before turn the hair towards you. best thing though for all hair is a frequent trip to the hairdresser. just trim an inch and your hair with start to obtain volume and feel less flat at the end. hope i helped!
