I was checking their websites and saw the angled blush brush which I need, both stores have them only MAC brush is more expensive.
Do they have the same effect, like when I put it on? What's the difference? Just the Co. name?..can I use the Mineral Brush one on my MAC blush??

Hi! please don´t misunderstand what i´m going to tell you, it´s just a detail that i´ve noticed in this tv show. Well, the thing is that I always see America´s Next top Model and I realized that black girls win this competition every 3 seasons: Eva (cycle 3), Danielle (cycle 6), Saleisha (cycle 9 ) and now Teyona (cycle 12). I know that you´ll think that it doesn´t matter and you are right, i´m not racist, it´s just something I noticed. So black girls, prepare for cycle 15, that will be your opportunity to win!

Ok listen i don't wanna gert babyliss yet, offcourse i saw tutorials & revlon is good. for african american hair do we need boar bristles to straighten our hair when wet.
I know hot air brushes are good (from what i heard) can i curl my hair with it & have alot of styles.
When my hair is curly in it's wet state will my hair become pretty straight like it does in the salon, will i need a flat iron after, or will it depend on my hair type?

I've heard lots of good reviews about the bobbi brown concealer and corrector , but it's too expensive for my budget so I was wondering if there 's a drugstore dupe for any one of them that can cover intense dark circles..

They're fairly cheap and highly pigmented, but due to the pigmentation you just have to make sure to pick the right shade for your skintone or you can end up with a concealer that's wayyy too white.

Drugstore dupe for bobbi brown corrector or concealer?

They are expensive MAC & Sephora makeup brushes and I wash them with a little bit of shampoo and warm water to get them clean but are they only good to keep for a certain amount of time before they dont work as good?

As long as you take care of them,use them for as long as you feel comfortable.

If you take good care of them and they stay in shape you can keep them forever. Throw them out if the bristles start getting out of shape and don't go back to normal after washing.

Umm you know I think it is personal preference on how it still applies your makeup. Because as long as you are keeping them sterile by washing them they will last as long as all the bristles are firm. also, there are makeup cleaner sprays that you can buy for your brushes …

If you are the only person using it, instead of washing it everyday, I suggest you wash it every week or 2 weeks, but maybe with your foundation/concealer brushes maybe the same day as it does collect bacteria.

Try using a clear shampoo ( clear/ see through shampoo means no wax) , for bigger blush or powder brushes, try washing it with conditioner once is a while.

if you wash your brushes too often, especially around the handles, it may loosen up the glue and your bristles will start to fall out. So when washing your brushes, try to wash the hair/bristles only and not the entire brush.

You should wash your make-up brushes once a week because if you don't all of the dead skin cells build up and your make-up comes on clumpy and we both know that doesn't look good!

How long should I keep my makeup brushes for?

I looking to buy a good quality makeup brush set. I've heard that crown brush make really good brushes, but they have so many sets to choose from. which one is best? I wear makeup most days. I am not a makeup artist, I just want a set of good quality makeup brushes that will help to make my makeup look flawless.

Crown brushes can run you into hundreds, if you are not a makeup artist why not try just MAC brushes or Sigma, they are very good, still great quality but not as expensive as Crown. if you get the lowest Crown brushes, you are looking to spend as much as MAC brushes and it will be the same quality. if you going to invest, than i would go with the backstage series. I have some with the black handle and the bristles are coming out, would not buy it again! I am a makeup artist and I use a bit from everybody, it depends who has a great brush for my needs,I like Smashbox for powder, Bobbi for eyeliner, Nars for contour etc etc…..

I'm not a fan of the Italian Badger series (the regular size anyway). I've seen those up close and personal and I was super disappointed with them. The Syntho line looks really promising but I only like synthetic brushes for liquid, cream, or gel products so with that line I'd get a foundation brush, concealer brush, eyeliner brush, or eyebrow brush. For eyeshadow brushes, powder brushes, blush brushes, and contouring brushes I'd go with the Studio Pro line or just the Studio line because those seem to be a bit better made than most of the others. good luck!

Ecotools are good inexpensive brushes. You can get them from drug stores, wal mart, or ulta.
However, crown is amazing. they are NOT expensive. Mac is expensive to me. I got a brush set for Christmas and got 5 brushes for like $70. That's not good for an average, everyday brush set. You can get double the amount of brushes from crown for cheaper. The studio pro and the italian badger and the luna badger are all great sets from crown. they are just as good as mac for a lot cheaper.

I washed my bare minerals brushes with anti bacterial dish soap and mixed it with olive oil to condition them and wipe of the excess after that. Then I rinsed throughly with warm, not hot water.

Nope. That's an awesome way to clean your brushes. Just make sure you dry them with the bristles facing down so the moisture doesn't ruin the glue.

As long as your brushes feel fine after that, its fine. Just make sure you rinsed it well, because you definitely don't want that stuff all over your face.

ughh that sounds kinda harsh.. i jus use a light face wash with no beads or baby shampoo

jus make sure you are using brush wraps so they dont loose shape or compactness like dont like the brissles expand..
